The
Comedy Club is proud to contribute to our community by offering special
fundraiser nights for local charities and
organizations. If you have a group that is interested in holding an event
here, please e-mail us at fundraisers@thecomedyclub.us
to arrange an evening like no other.
Here's
how it works
We sell you tickets at a discounted rate for any of our regular Thursday through
Saturday night shows (Special Shows and Saturday's early show
are not available). You then sell the tickets at any price you like and
all proceeds are yours.
What
we do for you
-
Provide
you with tickets that you can sell.
-
Provide
comedians and a fully staffed club and restaurant for a 90 minute show.
-
Assist
in a 50/50 drawing after the show.
What
you do
-
Sell
tickets to the event at any price you wish.
-
Promote
your event and also raise awareness for your cause and our club.
-
Provide
a few volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets at the event.
What
your costs are
You buy tickets in advance at a discount. The first 100 tickets are sold
at 50% off our regular
door
price, currently $9 on Thursday and $12 on Friday and Saturday. The next
block of tickets and any after that are sold at an even better price with $3 being the
lowest. Tickets can be purchased by cash, credit card or
check.
What
you can make
On a Thursday night for example, if you sell 100 tickets at $15 each, the door
will be $1,500. In addition to that a 50/50 drawing could potentially
bring in another $150 for a total of $1,650. Subtract the cost of
the tickets and you could raise $1,200 for your cause and have a blast
doing it.
Other
stuff you should know
The minimum amount of tickets that can be purchased is 100, you can buy tickets
in packs of 25 as needed after that. The funds raised must be for a
legitimate charitable cause or organization. We will not provide tickets to help send
you and your friends to Cancun or the Super Bowl.
Remember
to oversell a bit, generally 20% of the people you sell tickets to are just
supporting the cause and may not actually show up for the event.
Book
a night early and give yourself at least 4 to 5 weeks to sell tickets.
You must end ticket sales and provide the club with a final count one week
prior to the event.
